Private.I'm glad Elle's bruises have finally faded. I know that many men would not blame me for getting so angry after seeing that video of her with that man, but I feel horrible for hurting her so badly. I am glad not to have a reminder any longer.
I must admit, though, that her behavior has been perfect since that night. As horrible as I feel for inflicting pain on her, I'm glad it has yielded a positive result.
I am blessed with an amazing girlfriend. She's been surprising me with dinner nearly every evening when I come home from work. It seems like such a simple thing, but it's nice to come home to. I could definitely get used to it.

It seems I will be taking a short trip to Chicago soon. My parents are insisting on a visit and I've run out of reasons to decline. I suppose it's a trip long overdue, at any rate.
